®Refosco and Merlot grapes

The “ZIO BEPI” grappa is the sole grappa in the world made of Refosco and Merlot grapes.
First of all the Refosco grapes are left to macerate with part of the spirit obtained from the just fermented pomace, in a second stage the distillation of the merlot grapes takes places.
The obtained two spirits are then blended together in the proper proportions and left to rest for about 4 months in the same barrels which were containing the Refosco grapes. After around 40 days of ageing in bottle, the product is ready for consumption.
